- USB-C1 + USB-C2: 65W + 35W maximum
- All 3 ports: 89W total maximum
- 2 USB-C + 1 USB-A; cables sold separately
Start with the fit
Consider the two-USB-C arrangement only after checking your laptop and phone requirements, protocols and cables. The documented USB-C1 65W plus USB-C2 35W maxima may fit a known simultaneous requirement; they are not measured delivery to your devices.
When to look elsewhere
Skip this allocation if the laptop needs more than 65W while the second USB-C port is in use, or the other device needs more than 35W. If you require a particular phone PPS mode, full laptop speed or uninterrupted output during connection changes, these wattage figures alone are insufficient.
Understand the limits
Anker lists up to 100W from either USB-C port alone. With USB-C1 and USB-C2 together, the limits are 65W and 35W respectively. With all three ports in use, the total maximum is 89W: do not carry the two-port split into a three-port assumption. Match the required PD/PPS mode and suitable cable to each device; Anker calls for an E-Marker cable for optimal single-port 100W charging. We have not tested sustained output, device-specific charging or interruptions on plugging and unplugging.
Match this exact version
Anker Prime Charger (100W, 3 Ports, GaN), US model A2688. This is a different product from A2667, the 65W example in our explanatory guide. Check the exact regional plug and model; charging cables are sold separately.
Before buying anything
Try the appropriate port combination on your existing charger, charge at different times, or keep the original laptop adapter and an existing phone charger. A working setup that already meets your need does not need an upgrade.
