Full-size

Direct access to the most dedicated key groups.

What changes

No key group is removed in this illustration.

The trade-off

The widest conceptual footprint here leaves less open desk space.

Conceptual layout study. Not to scale. These are representative arrangements, not exact product drawings or measured desk-space savings. Key counts, regional layouts and navigation keys vary.

Full-size

Useful if you enter numbers often or prefer dedicated navigation keys.

Trade-off: The widest conceptual footprint here leaves less open desk space.

TKL

A middle ground if you want more mouse room without losing a distinct arrow cluster.

Trade-off: Frequent number entry may call for a separate numpad.

75%

Check the actual layout: “75%” does not guarantee one fixed set of navigation keys.

Trade-off: Navigation-key selection and spacing vary between designs.

60%

Check the exact manual if you regularly use arrows, function keys or navigation shortcuts.

Trade-off: Missing dedicated functions usually need layers or remapping; implementation varies.

02 / LOOK BELOW THE SURFACE

One keyboard.
Several different jobs.

Separate a generic mechanical assembly. Select a layer to understand its role, rather than treating a parts list as a quality score.

GENERIC MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY
A generic mechanical keyboard assemblyFive simplified layers: keycaps, switches, plate, PCB and case. Use the buttons to separate the layers and read their roles. Not every model uses this exact construction; this is not a teardown.GENERIC ILLUSTRATION / NOT A MODEL-SPECIFIC TEARDOWN

Generic illustration, not a teardown. This five-layer diagram is simplified. It does not describe every keyboard or prove the construction of any Redragon model.

The surface you touch

Keycaps

Removable caps form the typing surface. Profiles, legends and mounting details vary; match replacement caps to the actual layout and switch stem.

Keycaps
Removable caps form the typing surface. Profiles, legends and mounting details vary; match replacement caps to the actual layout and switch stem.
Switches
In this generic mechanical design, switches register key presses and provide the travel and feel. Mechanical and magnetic switch systems are different; replacement compatibility must be checked.
Plate
A plate can hold and align switches above the circuit board. Its material and mounting can affect the assembly, but not every keyboard uses this exact structure.
PCB
The printed circuit board carries the electrical connections and controller. Hot-swap sockets, soldered switches and other features depend on the specific design.
Case
The case supports and encloses the assembly. This drawing omits many possible parts, such as foam, gaskets, batteries, cables and stabilizers.

Now compare
the actual editions.

The K617 FIZZ, K582 SURARA, M711 COBRA and M612 PREDATOR have different roles. Our comparison keeps the verified specifications and version caveats in readable tables.
